Be careful

The most common death by new players is fall damage. There's a high chance that you'll spawn on a tall lavacast, so watch your steps and make your way down safely.

Essential resources

Wood may be scarse on the ground of spawn, but there's an oasis at Y244 at coordinates 0 0, check out : Spawn ; If you cannot get up there look for bamboo and dead bodies of other unlucky players to get essential items. Pigs, Sheep and Cows don't spawn frequently in the 1000 region, but there are plenty of cods and salmons in the water

Getting away from spawn

It's recommended to use the Overworld Highways and avoid the nether prior to diamond gear. 1500 blocks is a safe distance to progress. To start your first base it's recommended to go at least 25'000 blocks away.

Useful items to avoid death

• Totems : even better with the AutoTotem module on a hack client
• Fire resistance potions
• Chorus fruits : can help you escape traps made by other players
• Ender pearls : they're most useful in relog activated stasis chambers
• Enchanted golden apples : they are very rare, most commonly found in ancient cities, but worth the journey
• Slow falling potions : can save you if you don't have an elytra while building high up in the sky
